Don Bosco Retreat Centre

Jesus Youth organisation has appreciated the generosity and warm welcome of Salesian Centre, Lysterfield, since our first program, the' Yes Lord' retreat in December 2005. We have been doing several national and regional programs in this venue since then. We are thankful for the hospitality, beautiful, peaceful atmosphere, and the spacious facility. We recently had a week-long youth training program. The participants, resource persons, and volunteers equally appreciated the venue. We are looking forward to our next program in Don Bosco Retreat Centre, Lysterfield.

We recently held an Art of Living Silence Course with 40 participants at Don Bosco Retreat Centre, and it was truly one of the best retreat centres in Victoria! Fr. Shane and Louise were incredibly lovely, friendly, and always willing to help, ensuring our stay was smooth and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern utilities, and the rooms are neat, tidy, and well-maintained. We never faced any issues, as Fr. Shane was always available to assist and fix anything we needed. The natural beauty surrounding the retreat centre is absolutely breathtaking. With stunning walking trails and a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle, Don Bosco offers a true getaway experience. I highly recommend this retreat centre to anyone looking for a serene and well-managed space for their events or retreats!

We hosted a retreat for 60 women at Don Bosco on a beautiful Saturday. From the initial enquiry we were impressed with the friendliness, professionalism and assistance in making our day really special. Louise and Fr Shane were there every step of the way and Fr Shane looked after us so well on the day. The location is absolutely stunning and beautiful in so many ways. The chapel was available for adoration and prayer and the landscape there for walks and quiet. Highly recommend. We will certainly be making this an annual event.
